Joe is an uncommitted 2023 Outfielder. He has a 5’9 150 pound base. As a child giving Joe a baseball was like giving an artist a pencil and paper. He fell in love with the sport as soon as he held his first baseball. Since that day Joe and the diamond have been inseparable. He lives in a small town called Kenilworth, located in New Jersey. Since the time Joe was in elementary school you can tell he had a work ethic of a champion. Regardless if it was math class, riding a bike , gym class, or a wiffleball game Joe always puts his heart into everything he does. After a hard working and humbling middle school career, Joe made the New Jersey Nationals as a freshman. Joe’s first season with the Nationals went as planned, they went undefeated and won the fall ball championship. In addition to this, they won the USABL Beast of the East Tournament. Joe is a hardworking student - athlete that doesn’t take no for an answer. He is on a strict diet and takes his health very serious. In addition to his grind in the kitchen, he is relentless in the weight room. He works out 6 days a week on top of his normal baseball schedule. He is always trying to get stronger, faster, quicker and improve his game on both sides of the ball. Defensively, Joe is a smooth and quick defender with a whip of an arm. He has effortless footwork and sets himself up perfectly for every throw. His speed helps him track almost every ball hit in his general area. Offensively, he is a striker with lightning quick hands and electric hips. He works every count and makes pitchers throw him what he wants. He is extremely disciplined at the plate and always has an approach. He barrels every ball in his zone up and it’s almost impossible to make him swing and miss. In addition to his weapons on both sides of the ball, his best part of his game is on the base path. Joe is an extremely high IQ base runner with blazing speed. He ran a 7.3 sixty yard dash as a freshman. Joe has the ability to change the game when he is on first base. He steals bases with ease and leads his team in stolen bases every season. Joe is a team player and keeps his teammates in the game at all times. He gets his dugout talking and always keeps a positive attitude towards the game. He has a personal relationship with all of his teammates and coaches, and he learns from all of them.
Joe has a great social life off the field. He surrounds himself with successful people like himself. Joe has lots of friends and is very popular in his town. Joe has a beautiful girlfriend, and has been dating her for over a year now. She is Joe’s biggest supporter and bestfriend. Joe loves to play dodgeball, watch the game show network, go to the gym, ride bikes, go to the beach, go to the batting cages and play video games when he isn’t playing or practicing. Joe has lived in Kenilworth his whole life and has been friends with all of his friends since kindergarten. Joe’s favorite activity is going to the gym. He goes to the gym six days a week. Every sunday, Joe goes to church in Kearny. Joe is a Christian and always puts God first. Joe wants to go to college for Law. He wants to be a lawyer after he retires from the MLB.
Joe works harder in the classroom then anywhere else. His grades mean everything to him. He has made high honor roll almost every marking period since he was in seventh grade. This year he took two AP classes (college level courses), and three honors classes. Joe has a current GPA of a 3.7 and hasn’t taken the SAT yet. This upcoming school year he is taking a UCC class, two AP classes, and two honors classes.
